Managing seamless operations across an expansive 6-square-mile property, including a championship golf resort and intercoastal marina, requires instant, reliable radio contact between staff at all times. Their existing system was no longer adequate for the demands of a growing, high-end community.

How the System Was Built

RF Coverage Design

Kirisun’s RF engineers performed a full site survey and designed a coverage architecture optimized for both the open golf course terrain and the enclosed marina structures, eliminating dead zones across all zones.

FCC Licensing

The authorized Kirisun dealer, Rapid Communications & GPS Tracking, managed the complete FCC licensing process, ensuring all frequencies are legally registered and fully compliant with federal communication regulations.

GPS Tracking Integration

Real-time GPS tracking was integrated into the system, giving community management full visibility over staff locations, golf carts, and marina vehicles across the entire property at all times.

Multi-UHF DMR Repeaters

DR 600 UHF Repeaters were installed with combining technology to unify multiple channels into a single, coherent system. This configuration ensures continuous coverage whether staff are on the fairway, in the clubhouse, or at the marina docks.

DP 480 UHF Handhelds

Rugged and reliable DP 480 UHF digital handheld radios were deployed for all staff, providing clear voice communication, long battery life, and durability suited for outdoor use across the golf and marina facilities.

Staff Training & Support

The Kirisun Americas team provided hands-on training for all staff, ensuring confident adoption of the new system from day one. Ongoing technical support is available for the lifetime of the deployment.

DR 600 DMR Repeater

The DR600 DMR Repeater’s versatile configuration options allows it to be used in analog or digital mode, with a third “mixed” mode that switches between digital and analog modes automatically as incoming signals are detected.The DR600 can extend DMR II and analog signal coverage across multiple sites by leveraging TCP/IP network protocols. Upgraded to support DMR III trunking solutions via a firmware upgrade.AC/DC built-in power supplies on a 1U x 19” rack mount cabinet. On its front panel, clearly marked LEDs make it easy to keep an eye on operational statuses such as power-on, analog or digital mode, signal Tx/Rx activity, and system alarms.The DR600’s web interface allows for convenient remote management of system settings as well as monitoring and diagnosing of overall system health. The AIS/SIP ACCY interface located on its rear panel gives the DR600 the ability to directly integrate with third-party applications of your choosing.
